The client must provide adequate reference of the character requested to be made in 3D. The reference requires a front view, back view and optionally a side view. The more detailed and accurate the reference, the better.

It is expected from the client that they are happy with the reference and that it reflects what they desire the project to be.

I will not perform changes to the reference or work off model without additional references given.

If the client desires details to be different from the main reference, they will have to offer additional reference for use as well.

Upon requesting a commission, the client confirms that they are the legal copyright holder of both the reference and character depicted within, and that this reference is explicitly allowed to be used in the context of recreation and near copying of their work in 3D. This use case may include, but is not limited to:

Copying of patterns, logos and other complex textures from reference

Emulation of the artist's style

Other methods to recreate the image in 3D

Payment is expected to be transferred in two parts: 50% upon accepting the commission and 50% upon completion of the project.

Alternative financing options, such as a payment plans may be offered on a case-by-case basis

PayPal will serve as the primary method of payment, but alternatives can be discussed upon request.

I will begin working on the project when the first payment has been received.

There will be no refunds, if the client chooses to cancel the commission after work on the project has begun.

If I have to cancel the commission for any reason, I will issue a full refund.

The final project files will be delivered after the payment has been received in full.

If the client chooses to cancel the commission for any reason, I will maintain the rights to any work in progress files and images, and may use them as I see fit.

I will stay in regular contact with the client to provide updates, receive feedback and for revision requests.

Communication will occur through Discord or Email

Professionalism in communication will be expected from both parties.

I will remain available to help with technical issues after the commission has been completed

I am not available for work related communication outside of workdays.

I may reserve the rights to decline your commission request for any reason.

I will only take on as much work as I consider myself capable of handling.

Credit when using the model will be required to be given in form of my Twitter username (@MintyEllie) in a reasonable place.

I will post the completed work for portfolio purposes after the client has officially debuted it on their social media and/or live stream

I will not be held responsible for any technical issues that may occur on the client's end.

I will however assist with technical support where possible and am willing to teach the client how to use their model for their desired purpose.

I will reserve all rights and retain the copyright of the commissioned model.

If the client desires to use the model for merchandising purposes, they may request full copyrights from me. And I may request an additional fee or royalties upon discussion, and may request proper credit given before handing over the rights.

The client may not use the model in any harmful, hateful or otherwise illegal contexts.

The Client may:

Use the model for streaming, video creation or other social media content such as pictures

Promote themselves by means of the model

Use the model in VRChat and other virtual reality applications

The Client may not:

Use the model for purposes of AI training

Resell the model or upload its files to the internet

Use the model for commercial purposes such as using it as a base for figurines, plushies, or other merchandise.

I will treat the project as private and secret for the duration of the commission, up to its official reveal by the client, unless stated otherwise. If the client wishes to keep it private beyond that, they may discuss this with the artist.

I will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) upon request, but I may demand further fees in compensation.

I am open for hire on larger scale projects in collaboration with other artists, but payment, completion time, and revision options may differ from what is listed on this page under such circumstances.

Usually, a project takes about 1-2 months from start to completion, but it can be quicker / slower depending on the complexity of the commission

Commercial use in this context specifically means using the model for merchandising like figurines and the like. Of course you can Stream, make videos and post pictures of it on your social media just as expected!

Absolutely! An additional outfit won't cost you as much as a full new model, and you may also request one at a later date, after your commission is complete!; However, please consider that it may take a bit longer if I am working on another commission already.
